Dr Oates has worked for and collaborated with a number of organisations and universities in Australia and internationally
I acknowledge the Gimuy Walubara Yidinji peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I live, work and learn. I pay my deep respects to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. I acknowledge that these lands were never ceded and acknowledge the continued fight for sovereignty.
